Dating back between the 1930s to the 1950s, its linear form is gracefully extended by gentle curves at each end, hinting at the aerodynamic elegance of the later style. Fluted bevelled lines run down the sides, adding a tactile and visually dynamic element.

The piece is beautifully framed by corniced moulding at both the top and bottom, providing a sense of refined structure.
