Description
This Retro Sideboard with Sliding Glass and 2 Doors, dates back to the 1940s to 1950s, and showcasing Art Deco form blended with mid-century design elements. Entirely handcrafted from old aged solid teak, its clean and simple silhouette allows a key artistic feature to shine: a striking strip of hand-beveled fluted lines that stretches across the bottom.
The top is finished with an elegant beveled corniced trim, while the sideboard rests on stylish mid-century tapered legs. Adding a subtle curve, the two side doors (one on each end) provide enclosed storage. The central shelves, protected by sliding glass panes, offer an ideal space to display cherished memorabilia. For additional storage, three drawers are located at the bottom.
This stately and refined sideboard is a testament to skilled craftsmanship and timeless design.

This Retro Sideboard is a stunning piece that truly lives up to its Art Deco heritage. The solid teak construction feels robust and premium, with beautiful aged patina that adds character. At 172.5cm wide, it’s substantial enough to make a statement without overwhelming the space. The sliding glass doors work smoothly and showcase items beautifully, while the drawers and side doors offer practical storage. My only minor gripe is the delivery process required follow-up calls, but that’s more about logistics than the product itself. For $2080, it’s excellent value for a handcrafted vintage piece.
