The Sten Runner Rug from Pappelina is a visual feast for the home. Reversible in various colours, the rug is perfect for long hallways or corridors, as well as outdoors for use at elongated balconies.
Each Pappelina rug is made at their local weaving mill in Leksand, Dalarna. To the sound of wooden shuttles rushing forth and back – a well-coordinated interplay between loom, warp and weft – create the pattern of choice.
Each rug they make represents a piece of Swedish craftsmanship and thanks to great composition, high-quality materials and devoted craftsmen and -women, we bring you the durable, contemporary and colourful design that is Pappelina.
The Pappelina Kim Rug is very practical and easy-to-care-for, with a welded ribbon for strength and durability. Each comes embossed with the Pappelina logo, at both edges.

The Pappelina Sten Runner Rug is a stunning addition to my hallway. The ochre vanilla color is vibrant yet elegant, and the reversible design gives great flexibility. Crafted with high-quality PVC ribbon, it feels durable underfoot and surprisingly comfortable. At 70x200cm, it fits perfectly in my space. While it’s on the pricier side at $400, the Swedish craftsmanship and unique design make it worth the investment. Easy to clean and maintain too!
