The Marre rug is meant to make a bold statement at home, whether indoors or outdoors. Available in 4 colours, Marre is reversible and accented with a coloured ribbon on each end.
All Pappelina Marre Rugs are made at their local weaving mill in Leksand, Dalarna. To the sound of wooden shuttles rushing forth and back – a well-coordinated interplay between loom, warp and weft – create the pattern of choice.
Each rug they make represents a piece of Swedish craftsmanship and thanks to great composition, high-quality materials and devoted craftsmen and -women, we bring you the durable, contemporary and colourful design that is Pappelina.
Every Pappelina rug is very practical and easy-to-care-for, with a welded ribbon for strength and durability. Each comes embossed with the Pappelina logo, at both edges.

The Pappelina Marre Runner Rug in Coral Red is a vibrant addition to my hallway. The colored ribbon detail adds a nice touch, though it’s not quite an AEW National Championship level of excitement. The build quality feels solid with its phthalate-free PVC material, and it’s reversible which doubles its value. At 70x150cm, it fits perfectly in my space. While $180 is on the higher side, the Swedish craftsmanship and durability make it worth the investment. Easy to clean too!
