About Pappelina rugs
The Pappelina Koi Rug is made at a local weaving mill in Leksand, Dalarna. To the sound of wooden shuttles rushing forth and back – a well-coordinated interplay between loom, warp and weft – create the pattern of choice.
Each rug they make represents a piece of Swedish craftsmanship and thanks to great composition, high-quality materials and devoted craftsmen and -women, we bring you the durable, contemporary and colourful design that is Pappelina.
The Pappelina Koi Rug is very practical and easy-to-care-for, with a welded ribbon for strength and durability. Each comes embossed with the Pappelina logo, at both edges.
Material: Phthalate-free PVC ribbon, polyester warp.

The Pappelina Koi Runner Rug adds a vibrant yet serene touch to my kitchen. The Ocean color is exactly as pictured – bright but not overwhelming. At 70x200cm, it fits perfectly in my space. The PVC material feels durable and is easy to clean, which is a huge plus for high-traffic areas. I appreciate the welded ribbon detail that adds to its longevity. While it’s on the pricier side, the Swedish craftsmanship and unique design make it worth the investment. Shipping took about 9 days, which was reasonable.
