All Pappelina Bob Rugs are made at their local weaving mill in Leksand, Dalarna. To the sound of wooden shuttles rushing forth and back – a well-coordinated interplay between loom, warp and weft – create the pattern of choice.

Every Pappelina rug is very practical and easy-to-care-for, with a welded ribbon for strength and durability. Each comes embossed with the Pappelina logo, at both edges.

The Pappelina Bob Runner Rug in Black-Vanilla looks fantastic in my kitchen. The plastic material feels surprisingly soft underfoot while being incredibly easy to clean – just wipe and go. At 70x225cm, it fits perfectly in my space. The Swedish craftsmanship is evident in the tight weave and durable construction. While the price point is on the higher side, the quality and design make it worth the investment. Only minor complaint is that it can slide slightly on smooth floors, but that’s easily fixed with a non-slip pad.
